Camps Scholarships
Scholarships for Sternberg Museum Summer Science Camps
The deadline for camp applications and scholarship applications (both completed on CampDoc after selecting the camp or camps being applied to) is April 8th, 2024.
Scholarships are available to help students attend the Sternberg Museum Science Camps programs. This financial aid is currently available for all programs taking place within the USA for elementary, middle, and high school students. (Scholarships may be provided for international programs, but at a lower percentage of the program fee than our domestic camps.) Aid is distributed on a need+merit basis, and is highly dependent on how much we have available to distribute in any given year. We encourage interested potential students to apply even if they do not think they will qualify. Our goal is to make these opportunities as accessible as possible.

Admission & Scholarship Notification Schedule
We run on a rolling admission schedule from January 5th to April 8th. Each month, we will evaluate students with complete application files to determine admission decisions. Scholarship decisions are made after the early application deadline (March 4th). If your student is denied admission to a camp, you will be specifically notified. Below we have listed evaluation period cutoff dates, and notification periods.
We may accept late applications on a case by case basis, as some but not all camps have their enrollment locked after that deadline. If you are applying after April 8th, please contact us at the email below before starting your application.
Please contact us at SternbergCamps@FHSU.edu if you have any questions about this process.
- The early enrollment rate for camps expires on March 4th.
- Applications for camps, and scholarships, are due by 11:59pm on April 8th.
